About me

Welcome

I qualified as a doctor in 1985, working first as a GP and then as a gynaecologist. I worked for 20 years in Aneurin Bevan Health Board as a consultant gynaecologist, specialising in sexual health and the menopause. In 2026 I trained with The Academy of Modern Celebrants and qualified as an independent funeral celebrant. I have recently been appointed as joint custodian of the Usk Natural Burial Ground. I live near Usk with my husband and enjoy the outdoor life with dogs and horses, gardening and the company of close friends.

Having experienced several personal bereavements, and through my medical work, I have been alongside death and many other types of loss and difficulty. I understand that grief is deeply personal and unique; I am comfortable with difficult feelings and issues and will support you through them. Whether you are looking for a farewell with or without faith, or something in between, I provide safe, open-minded support, and confidentiality to discuss and deliver your wishes.
